The work includes the partial demolition of the existing masonry wall between the riverbed, the Lycée Comte de Foix school and the Joan Alay sports pavilion, the construction of a set of walls forming steps inside the school grounds that act as a buttress to the pre-slabs that make up the river path, and the installation of a 270.00ml sound shield and a protective handrail on these walls.
There is a RECKLI finish on the outer wall and the colours of the Andorran flag adorn the inner wall.
The work was planned to be carried out over two summers, but Treballs Públics Unitas presented an alternative plan to complete it in the summer and autumn, with no break.
