SKI LOCKER BUILDING AT RIBA ESCORXADA
El Tarter (Canillo)
In order to respond to growing demand for comfort and quality, a one-storey semi-basement ski locker building has been built at the Grandvalira ski resort, in Soldeu – El Tarter.
The project included the demolition and clearing of the existing elements, excavations and infilling.
The building consists of a frame with reinforced concrete slabs, pillars and walls and a roof with waffle slabs. Curtain-wall style glass envelope, ventilated lockers and rooftop garden at the same level as the existing esplanade.
